Downshifting!!
Let's play a game! Copy and paste the following and downshift until we have a fully elaborated action. Be sure to copy and paste the last person who has gone and add to theirs. Remember, a good write adds a mix of action, description, dialogue, thoughts and feelings, and sound effects. Here we go.

The tiny elf was sprinting towards me. The fear in his shiny, honest eyes was breathtaking. His terror jolted me back to reality. His mangled clothes flapped frantically in the wind.
The peony elf came sprinting torwards me like if he were furious. His small body flew when he was a few yards ahead of me. Then his leg drew up in the air then all of the sudden, a moment later, everything went BOOOOOOOOOOM!
as i was walking i saw a shadow beneath the park side i thought "is it a dog or some sort of thing." then i realized it was a tiny shadow then i thought again "the only thing tiny is a elf." could this be and them full speed ahead i was right it was an ELF!!!!!!!!!! then i thought what do i do next....
A small gust of wind blew from the horizon. A peony shadow showed two minutes later. I stood at the same spot every second not knowing what to do but to run. When the shadow approached I noticed it was an ELFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!
a tiny elf sprinted to me. he was only two inches tall with red hair. he was hungery because he missed his breakfast. his mouth was drolling with hunger and his unhonest, sparkling, emrald green eyes peering at me. " okay, you are really freaking me out!!" but he didn't seem to here me because he kept on running. then I decided to run for it. I ran faster and faster but he kept up with me kicking at my heels. then I stoped and looked behind me. I could recognise that face any were, it was my little brother in his elf costume.
The tiny elf began to sprint toward me. Its scraggly bright red beard whipped around his body. A ginormous green hat stood on top of his head. suddenly, he tripped over his curved shoes and I watched him tumble to the ground. His sad grey eyes were wide as he stared at me looking for help. But I stood my ground. The elf slowly got up by himself he started to charge at me again, only this time it looked like it was because he was forced to. There were little droplets of water that fell from his rosy cheeks. It was then that I realized I should have helped him, now the look of his eyes when he fell haunted me and was the only thing I could think about.
