Freedom Crossing


Some students in our class would like to discuss our current core book, Freedom Crossing. Here are the rules:

Respond to a previous post, but be sure to have DETAILS from the story to support your ideas. You may also ask questions. I'll start:

It seems to me that Laura does not think of Martin as her 'equal'. I think this because she mentioned at one point that slaves are like children, who like to be taken care of. I also think this because she lived in the south for a long time, and is so used to having slaves serve her, as if she was better than them. What do you guys think?

what will happen if there is a second freedom crossing? what would the title be? what would it be about? but, I bet it would be good no matter what, who ever writes it!!!!
